Emergency services were spotted responding to an incident in New Market Street at around 2.45pm on Monday (October 2).<br /><br />Footage taken by James Randolph Photography also shows an air ambulance landing on the multi-storey car park in Friday Street.<br /><br />Lancashire Police later confirmed they were called to a “medical episode”.<br /><br />A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service added: “We attended to a patient requiring medical assistance.<br /><br />“They were taken to hospital by road.<br /><br />“Air ambulance crew also attended the scene.”
